A Touch of Ink Bird and Flowers

I can’t believe it! Only TWO days left to Sale-A-Bration 2021! This has been a great kick-off to the year with all the fabulous SAB items to choose from. It is hard to pick a favorite. And to think they can be gotten for FREE! Who doesn’t like that?

The Level 2 stamp set, A Touch of Ink, has been quite popular, and it is not surprising. The Humming Bird, Flower and Butterfly images are large enough to stand on their own as a focal point of your card, yet not too big that you can’t add other elements to your project. Even the sentiments, in a beautiful handwritten looking font, are the perfect size to compliment the images on your card. And look how many stamps you get….17! Imagine all you could do with those.

A Touch of Ink Stamp Set

This set allows you to do what is called, “Two Step Stamping.” That means you have two stamps that work together. One gives you the details of the image and the other adds color. As you can see in the image above, the image style looks like a sketch and the stamp that adds the color looks like water color painting. This second step stamp was purposely made to not fill in the detail exactly, allowing it to look more artistically hand painted. These stamps also were made to show some shading right on the stamp itself for a more natural effect.
