An Added Surprise With Another Z Fold
A single Z Fold is fun enough with its accordion style zig-zag fold that you pull sideways to open. The Double Z Fold adds another zig-zag inside the card for an added surprise for the recipient. This version uses the Many Layered Blossoms dies and the sentiments from the coordinating Blossoms In Bloom stamp set.
The card base, in Gray Granite is layered with the herring bone pattern from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP). The front boasts the thicker outline of the flowers from the dies, which is then cut in half. the flowers and leaves are colored with sponge daubers in Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Calypso Coral ink. Embellishments are from the Clear and Frosted Epoxy Droplets. (Frosted is used here.) Folded, the card is a standard size, measuring 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
- Gray Granite card base: 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″
- Peony Garden DSP: 4″ x 2-1/2″ (2 pieces) and 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Gray Granite inner layer: 9-3/4″ x 3″, scored at 4-1/4″ and 7″
- Whisper White layers: 2-3/4″ x 4″ and 2-3/4″ x 2-1/2″ (2 pieces)
Stamp your sentiments, sponge and adhere your die cut flowers and add embellishments. Now you are ready to assemble the double Z!
